Stars STEM Camp East Kimberley

On April 29th & 30th 2024 we’re excited to be bringing our Stars STEM Camp to Kununurra!
What is Stars STEM Camp?
This camp is FREE and open to all high school students in the East Kimberley region. During this two-day camp, held in Kununurra, Western Australia, students will get hands-on experience with astronomy research, and meet some of the people who have made their careers in astrophysics, engineering, and data science.
If you are interested in Astronomy, Engineering or Data Science, this is an opportunity to practice some real-world skills and talk to leading experts in the field.
Details
- Each day will run from 8am – 2:15pm.
- The camp will be hosted at the Kununurra School and Community Library, corner of Coolibah Drive and Mangaloo Street, Kununurra.
- This is a day camp, which will require transport to and from the location each day.
- Food will be provided throughout the event.

Places are limited so apply as soon as possible! Please note that we are only able to accept applications from participants who have not previously attended a Stargirls camp.
Applications will close on Wednesday 10th April. You will be notified on the result of you application after the closure date.
