I am a PhD student at ICRAR-UWA, supervised by Claudia Lagos and Chris Power. I am part of the SU3 group (Computational Modelling and Theory). My work involves using advanced cosmological hydrodynamical simulations (an example of which I’ve included below) to look at gas accretion to galaxies, with the eventual goal of improving the treatment of baryonic physics in semi-analytic models of galaxy formation. Previously, I graduated with First Class Honours from UWA in 2018 with a Bachelor of Philosophy degree, where my research project involved investigating the quenching timescales of galaxies in simulations.
