I am a full-time PhD student with the Accretion Physics and Slow Transients group at the Curtin Institute of Radio Astronomy (CIRA), where I am supervised by Dr Adelle Goodwin, Prof. James Miller-Jones, and Dr Kristen Dage. I am researching new techniques for determining the geometry of tidal disruption event (TDE) outflows using high-precision radio observations. This will involve using VLBI observations to find any astrometric shifts in TDE outflows, and investigating the variability of TDEs due to interstellar scintillation to provide independent constraints on the emitting region size.
Previously, I completed my Advanced Science (Honours) degree at Curtin University. For my third-year and Honours projects, I researched the radio afterglows of gamma-ray bursts, supervised by Dr Gemma Anderson and Dr Adelle Goodwin. My Honours thesis focused on the unusual radio afterglow of GRB 241105A. I observed the evolution of this event over a year, using the ATCA, and analysed my data to determine the progenitor of the burst.
My ORCID is 0009-0005-5031-8177.
