Background

Currently undertaking a PhD with the Astrophotonics group at ICRAR-UWA under the supervision of Dr Shane Walsh, Dr David Gozzard and Dr Sascha Schediwy on the development of mobile optical ground stations for next generation space science and communication.

 

I completed my BSc. double major in Physics and Mathematics & Statistics at the University of Western Australia in 2020. I completed my Master of Physics (Astronomy & Astrophysics) with distinction in 2022.

The Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Gravitational Wave Discovery (OzGrav) at UWA

Under the supervision of Dr Bruce Gendre:

• Reduction and analysis of NASA-Swift and ESA-XMM X-ray Gamma Ray Burst (GRB) data.

• Ultra-long GRB X-ray data simulations for the proposed ESA THESEUS mission’s yellow-book publication and associated paper.

• Evaluative study of Point Spread Function (PSF) corrections to Zadko telescope GRB optical data.

University of Science and Technology China (USTC)

Under the supervision of Professor Guilin Lui:

• Captained a group research project on the spectrographic analysis of quasar outflows using Integrated Field Unit (IFU) data
