The student will take advantage of state-of-the-art observations of nearby galaxies to gain an understanding of the physical processes affecting the warm gas in the interstellar medium and discover how we can use observations to reveal the physical processes affecting galaxies.
Expected duration: Between 1 and 2 weeks.
Skills required: Basic knowledge of astronomy. Considering doing either Honours or Master in Astronomy and Astrophysics subjects. Basic python programming.
