The Square Kilometre Array radio telescope will produce multidimensional images of unprecedented sizes ~100 TB. Viewing of such images requires radically new approaches. ICRAR has been developing SkuareView software that adopts JPEG2000 technology for remote visualisation. In this project, you will be working on the SkuareView client software to improve its functionality. You will be based at the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research on UWA campus as part of the Data Intensive Astronomy group.
