The Square Kilometre Array radio telescope will produce multidimensional images of unprecedented sizes ~100 TB. Finding faint galaxies in such data is difficult. In this project you’ll be working on a novel approach to finding galaxies in wavelet domain using neural networks, utilising JPEG2000 and Intel Movidius technology.
