ICRAR’s recently developed ‘AstroPhotoArt’ program works with smaller groups of students for an intensive period, teaching students the basics of Astrophotography.
It’s operated in conjunction with Rick Tonello at Astronomy Education Services.
Students learn about digital SLR cameras and astronomical concepts and put their knowledge into practise during night photography sessions. The program is broadly cross-curricular (art, science, technology, photography and computing) and has wide appeal to students.
