Workshop participants at the Perth Zoo.
This invitation-only workshop is part of a regular 6-monthly series of HI meetings mainly designed to bring together proponents of next-generation HI surveys (ASKAP/MeerKAT/Apertif) to discuss science, techniques and coordination. Previous workshops have been in Bunker Bay and Arniston.

For northern hemisphere visitors, Perth in Feb is a welcome change from your winter. Average daily maximum is 31C, average daily minimum is 17C. 11 hrs of sunshine a day (bring a hat), and no rain (leave the coat).

The venue for the workshop will be Perth Zoo, located in South Perth (Western Australia), across the picturesque Swan River from the Perth CBD. The location is readily located using google maps or similar. The daily workshop activities will take place at the Zoo. Normal facilities for speakers will be provided.
A wide range of accommodation options are available in the Perth CBD area, with transport to South Perth possible via a short ferry ride across the river and a short walk to the Zoo from the ferry terminal in South Perth. Information on the Perth ferry.
